Will a 225 V-6 (with flywheel) swap directly in were a Buick 350 V-8 is now?
Motor mounts aren't that big of a deal, if it works great, but I'm looking for the input shaft bellhousing bolt pattern bla bla bla.

The Jeep has a Buick 350, T90 trans, D18, and OD.

All the research I see, the answer is YES. The flywheels are different, the bellhousing/input shafts should be the same.

Can I ask why you are ditching the v-6 ? I'm thinking of going the other way.

It's actually my brother's Jeep BUT the 350 smokes like a train and it's going to cost about 2K to replace. He really doesn't want to deal with rebuilding the 350 and found a 225 not far away for a reasonable price. Also with all the stock running gear the 225 will probably be a little easier on it.
He just wants a put put rig to drive around.

Well, that will do ! The 225 is "reasonably" spunky, so that sounds like a good choice. The only other thing that comes to mind is the space between the fan and the radiator will increase and that may affect your cooling. A shroud would be a great idea, but good luck finding one. Motor mounts SHOULD be the same. I'm not sure about the starter.
