Shift Tower interchangeable?

    Anyone know if the T14 and T86 top cover/shifters can interchange? My T14 has the output for the reverse light, my T86 does not. The T14 needs rebuilt so I was thinking this may be a quick fix for my reverse light switch that I am wiring up.

    I should have looked 2 months ago when I had them both apart.... :rofl:

    No. The T-86 more resembles a T-90 than a T-14.

    It was a crazy thought that popped into my head, I knew the shift forks looked different.

    Now I have to try to find a place to hide the toggle....
