Electrical GURU NEEDED - 4 wire wiper motor

well - paperwork and insurance has been ready since this pass Friday, but I want everything legit since the temp inspecton sticker is just a 10 day deal. I have missed enough deadlines to know I don't want to miss this one so I am waiting to go to DMV till I have the wiper running and the seatbelts in ( last 2 hold ups for the project (We won't mention the speedo gauge trouble - I just bought another one - waiting for it to show up)

The mirical conections that need to take place are between a 4 wire wiper motor (Red, Blue, Green and Black) and a wiper control switch on the colom I dropped into the 64. That has 7 wires, one, for the washer (pink) is esay enough - run that separate.

Pics - first ID's the wires, the second is the actual wires from the colom in living color. Not shown are the wires from the wiper motor





I have baked enough stuff - I want to be sure before I jucie this puppy. Looking for High, Low and off - do not think the motor has delay feature in it.

Any help would be appreciated, will be running some tests in the mean time to see if I can figure it out.

 

We've covered this before; a search would be good. Also, this is the wrong forum for a '64 - you sure this is where you want to be?

The connector doesn't look like '64 stuff - neither does the picture.

Oh, ok, this is a late model column.

Which windshield do you have? The intermediate and late windshields have a two-speed motor.

 

Many aftermarket wiper motors come with wiring diagram to install to your existing wiring. If you dont have that with your motor, it is a PITA to try to figure it out DAHIK.
