Reman, all new or severe duty water pump?

    I'm checking rock auto for a replacement water pump for my 231 I'm building and there are a bunch of different ones. Cardone has standard reman for about $17, a brand new one for $23, and then a severe duty for $28.

    With it this cheap I don't really have problem paying for the nicer one, but will I notice difference? Is Cardone a decent company for this stuff?

    Brand new from local Advance auto or Autozone is fine.

    Certainly skip the reman unless you're really short of cash or don't plan to keep the Jeep.

    Never heard of Cardone... Airtex is ok. I'd probably buy Delco.

    Ok, I'll go over to Napa and pick one up then. I've had better luck with the parts guy there than at Autozone.
