GPW L-head dipstick

    evanjm Yeah, it's got an F-head.

    i need to get a dipstick for my '42 GPW L-head. I have a dipstick and tube off of an early F-head, does anyone know if it should be the right length?

    or what length the GPW dipstick should be?

    Any L-head dipstick will work. Since I think the lower block and oil pan are the same, the F-head would probably work too. The blade will need to bend in a little near the bottom.
