42 gpw hubs

    Will locking hubs from a regular later ten spline axle jeep fit a 42 gpw or do they use a different axle? Thanks

    Yes, but you may have to cut the threaded ends off your axles if you have that type.

    I'm not sure but you may be able to avoid this with a set of 10 spline selectro hubs. I think there's a couple of sets on ebay and I believe Herm may have some as well. I know as I contacted him looking for a set of 27 spline hubs.

    Just a used set of cardan cross ujoint axles and bolt hubs right up. Sell you axles to someone on the G503 forum.

    Sure do hate posting when the hands are faster than the eyes. Somebody here should be able to help out with those axles, post a WTB ad in the classified.

    the reason i ask is im selling hubs on ebay and that was a question i got. I figured that would be the answer just wasnt 100%. On my 46 2a i have superwinch hubs that i had to grind down the nut and they fit. I then tried to fit warns i have and see the whole deal needs to be removed as you say. Thanks
