I picked up a roll bar on the way down to see my folks. Just wondering if its going to fit now. Its 33 inches tall, the plates that bolt to the fender wells are 32 inches long and its 59.5 inches wide in the rear and 57.5 inches wide in the front.

It looks right ... Can't measure the Jeep? I don't know what the measurements are just offhand, but the bar has to spring in between the body sides. You can do this with muscle and momentum or with a come-along or turnbuckle. The two sides should be parallel, but maybe the bar is just sprung.

<edit> I'm thinking its too wide - the CJ 27 front axle is 51" WMS to WMS.

Yea, I can't measure the jeep until I get home on Tuesday. I thinking the plates that bolt to the fender wells might be too long.

Could this maybe from an early CJ7 or later year CJ5, I think a 1972-1975 will fit.

Yes, a bar from a '72-75 CJ-5 will fit. A bar from a later CJ will not fit without modification. The floors and wheel wells are entirely different.

This bar is too wide for a CJ - my CJ-6 is 55.5" between the body rails over the wheel wells. The CJ used the same exterior dimensions right up to the end; the width between the body rails doesn't change, so it's not from a CJ.
