is there a difference between civilian and the m38a1 timing cover

    just got done cleaning up my timing cover and the front seal looks really weird, just currious if it is different on the m38a1 or the same as civilian:? really cant even tell if it drives in from the front or the rear:?

    I was wondering that too. I have both and the M38A1 cover has a ring tack welded to the outside that surrounds the oil seal area.
