not that I'm aware of. I scored a nos Kaline top from a forum brother last year, but I was going to have a upholstery shop make one for me...est. cost you ask ? $1000

Unless I'm reading their website incorrectly, you can also get the Supertop. Pricey, comes with it's own hardware and doors. I've never read a bad thing about it, probably as nice as a softop can be. Most folks love 'em.

The pricey part is the sticking point for me. Other alternatives are being explored.

The Tigertop is currently the only available - new - soft top option for the CJ6. If the Supertop were available I'd had one yesterday.

Anybody have any suggestions re a soft half-top? I suppose I could look for a used one as a pattern...

Who quoted $1000 for a custom top?

im not looking forword to when i get to the point of buying a new top for mine because i also want a set of doors that i think i will have to buy for a newer cj5. they are soft doors with zip down windows but the top half of the door also comes off.

I think you're thinking of Supertop doors, which won''t be easy to get to work with the Tigertop. They use a different latch setup because the top frame around the door opening is completely different.

FWIW I had the Supertop on my CJ5 and rarely used the doors in their half-door state. I just like the open top / open door route too much. The doors also seal with velcro -- which I try to use sparingly as it will wear out over time.

This is true. I constantly have my door tops off, and the velcro is getting weak. 'Course, it's been on my DD Jeep for 11 years.
