Radiator mounting

    I have the engine in, the wiring ran and tested out. I am on to mounting the radiator. I have an aftermarket radiator that is a little longer and taller, but not much and will still fit. I will have to fab some brackets to mount it up, but that is not a problem.

    The original mounting is off to the left and not centered on the engine. Has anyone cut the original schroud back to the grill and started from there. Or is it easier to just try and mount it off of the original spots. I will not be using the heater air duct any more.

    Also has anyone installed a Tach. I have the wire ran from the distributor, just not installed anywhere. Was wondering which ones have been used and where have they been mounted.

    I know on my 3b I cut the corners and bent the sides over the then added metal as needed, it worked well and looked almost factory when done.

    I cut 1" out of mine and rewelded it.
