power steering pieces???

    I have a chance to buy (cheap) a power steering box. the owner says it will fit 72-83 cj, does that sound right? Also since I have a small block chevy, am I correct in thinking that if I got the jeep power steering box, than I could get the pump, brackets, etc. that would fit the chevy motor? would I need a new pitman?

    Box should work. Small block pump will work, you just need a hydraulic shop to make your hoses. Prob about $25 each. Power box and manual box I think use different p'arms. Before you get your lines made you need to know wich is in and out on pump and box.
