    Colorado_Baja JEEPS!!

I have my D20 almost completely taken apart, but im stuck on the last step in the novak process. It says that early D20's have a thrust washer and snap ring to hold the bearings\ gears on the front shaft, mine being a later case dosent have that, it says in the novak process that the shaft may be pulled from the bearing.. what does that mean exactly?
I have the left shift rod and fork out along with the rear race on the front shaft I just cant figure out how the roller bearings come free from the shaft.
Tried a 2 jaw puller on one of the roller bearings, bent the cage a little but it dident want to budge..

Anyone point me in the right direction?

    Thanks,
    Greg

Apparently what they meant by pull the shaft from the bearing is brace the shaft/gear assembly in the case and pound on the threaded end of the shaft with a BFH until it shoots out the back of the case
