Does anyone have a part number for a 225 V6 mechanical fuel pump? I ordered one this weekend for my '75 231 odd-fire and it didn't fit. I asked for a fuel pump for a '75 Buick Regal with a 231, no AC and excluding california. The part number was Master 40759, which matches what two websites identified, but is definitely not correct. (Won't bolt up)

The fuel pump with the return line port (3-port pump) is an Airtex #40515. The pump without the return line port (2-port pump) is an Airtex #40001.

Joel: This is my spare master 3 port pump. Note the different part #. It's 40515.

Oops. Just tried to upload a pic, 640x480. Worked Sat. but now says it's TOO BIG! Page says it should be 620x280??????? :?

Have to quiz Sparky about this.

Thanks guys! I called NAPA this afternoon and am picking up part number NFPM4512 on my way home. I gave them '71 CJ5 225 V6 as a reference so my fingers are crossed.

Dang it. I think I had the right one after all. Picked up a different one at NAPA today, but the arm is flat without the bend. #@$!#$!#$. Oh well. Back again tomorrow.
