    That is all.

    Carry-on :)

How well does JB Weld last in terms of small hole filler? I'm hoping for at least a while since I now a complete tube smeared all over my softtop snap holes.. :)

10-4. I actually did try to weld the holes first, but my welding abilities are kinda cruddy. So I filled in the cracks/holes with JB. Seems pretty tough really. I couldn't push them through with a screwdriver.

It should work ok. If you dent the metal back from behind, the hole will be smaller. Braze would be better if you have a torch.

I have used JB weld on several small holes in my jeeps. Works great.

Even have used it on a larger holes where the PO had cut a hole for an after market radio. I made a metal patch a little larger than the hole. Then JB welded it to the backside of the dash, then filled in with bondo to bring the surface of the patch to the original surface dash. Then sanded and painted when I repainted the entire jeep. Worked great. Highly recommend JB Weld for small holes.

When you weld the holes, try using a piece of brass (like a punch) behind the hole if you can reach. Works great with a mig welder.

    8) you got it! All the older maintenance techs I've worked with use that trick. The molten steel from the weld will not stick to brass or copper. Eastwood actually sells little copper sheets for this
