does anyone have some pics of the way and the position stock steering was mounted on the v6. eg where it caem through the fire wall. i would like to replace the heater in my 69 but the po took it completely out (ive got all four modules), plated up the firewall and then put the new tilt wheel in through that.

i will be replacing the current column. does a saginaw upgrade mean you have to relocate the column?

    thanks for any help.

    Zed,
Are you wanting to restore the Jeep or just have heat? If you want heat search the local boneyards for a early to mid `70's Datsun pickup truck, they have a good little heater unit that fits on the firewall behind the dash. I mounted the control panel under the dash with some 3/4" x 2" Stanley tools strap for shoring up wood products. It has enough hot air coming out of it to defrost the windshield in about 5 minutes. I picked up the unit for about $20.00, it's worked for 3 years now.
