Axle swap.

    Has anyone ever put a front axle from a grand Cherokee into a cj5?
    I just got a 1993 GC for parts and was hoping this might work.

    And the GC is coil sprung and your CJ if stock is leaf sprung. And the wheel bolt pattern is wrong, and the gear ratio most likely is wrong (unless both happen to be 3.73-1).

    And the GC is coil sprung and your CJ if stock is leaf sprung. And the wheel bolt pattern is wrong, and the gear ratio most likely is wrong (unless both happen to be 3.73-1), and the GC front end is very wide compared to your stock CJ width.
