258 exhaust manifold

I have a 75 cj5 jeep and i need to replace the exhaust manifold and i noticed that they changed in 81 and did away with the part that mounts to the intake manifold, can i order the exhaust manifold for the 81 model?

 

Not certain, but I think it's no. You might be able to make it work by grinding away part of the manifold.

If you want to use both the intake and exhaust from an '81 or later, that will work. I put manifolds from an '85 CJ-5 on my pickup.

Is your manifold broken?

 

Yes its craked and the studs for the stove are stripped out from the previous owner, and i was wandering if it would work because the previous owner also stripped out one of the stud mounts on the aftermarket intake so if that would fit then i would not have to worry about taping out the intake
