    You need to watch the starting fluid, once a engine gets hooked on that stuff you can not get it off. Let me explain, a diesel mechanic friend told me that the explosion in the cylinder with starting fluid is hard on the rings and can cause problems in the future. I do not use starting fluid it any more.
