    Okay Folks.

This has been a real bear, but I'm getting more tools!!! I'm trying to R&R the front wheel bearings. I had an old Warn manual locking hub and thought I would do an R&R on it as well (Can't find an inst manual anywhere!!). I'm to the point of just one more piece to remove before I can start/complete the R&R process. BUT, I can't finger out how to remove this part. Its a ring of some type.

    Here's a photo

Any ideas? I'm out of C4

should be allen screws inside that lock washer
you can see the holes where they are in the photo
take those out, or, loosen so that the nut will unscrew
I think that's what I see in the photos
    be gentle

Might just buy the tools. Only takes a couple minutes to replace the races.

If you're careful a brass punch will work as well. The ones Patrick posted work the best though.
