10" brakes

    Searched with no luck in the past, so I'll ask.

    Are the backing plates on 10" drums the same on a front 27 as a rear 44? I can get most of my FF conversion done if the backing plates are the same, just need to get drums for the rear, shafts, carrier, and flanges.

    if you have the tapered axle yes, if you have the flanged 44 you have to drill two holes as the bolt pattern is slightly different.

    I've got some 10" drums in the shed with a cool spider living in there , if you want them.
