Saginaw tie rod ?

Well, I'm getting somewhat close with the conversion and had a question about the tie rod. I measured from the pitman arm to the tie-in and it is about 24 1/2". Now, when I order one, does the size account for the ends or do I have to take that out of my measurement and maybe order a 22" rod?

depends who you order it from. i would give them the whole measurement and then also tell them the kind of tierod ends you are using. and see what they tell you.

some of them actually have a "calculator" on their website. but i would call them and talk.
