Oil Pan ??

    As I was cleaning up the oil pan I noticed some repairs (brass brazing)

    Turns out they look very symmetrical. Any ideas?

    Did original oil pan have skid plate, pump/filter or sump of some sort bolted through it?
    Maybe the PO replaced with a donor pan?

    More than likely those are from the factory skid plate,
    Would you like a spare, I have a plethera of them:D:D

    yes the F-head had a skid plate attached from the factory..................

    saw one leak like a sieve on the Rubicon after getting beat on a bit :D
