What are the differences between rear corner guards of the 75 and 76 CJ5s ?

I have a rust situation plus I want to return to OE type tail lights. I'm hoping the original corner radius was retained when this DJ was converted. Note the tailgate is non funtional.

This project is becoming an adventure

I believe the difference will be where the holes are drilled for lights and fuel. But I don't know the difference between a CJ corner and the DJ corner...they might be different.

72- early 76 CJ5's have the fuel filler like yours, 77 and later have a recessed plastic fuel filler lower down on the panel. If I remember correctly postal DJ5's had three lamps on each side mounted vertically. One set was a set of amber flashers, Then the taillamps and reverse lamps were there own set of lamps. 72-75 CJ5's also had round lamps and separate back up lamps. The taillamps were mounted below the fuel filler and the Back up lamps above. Also postal jeeps had no provision for a license plate or the lamp for it since they did not have license plates. I would go with the later model square taillamps since you can get them at any hard ware store. Just make sure that you can still get to the fuel filler when you mount them.

Mine has an add-on turn signal switch so it requires a separate signal bulb. By using the square tail lights I can use the clear back up lens as a signal by using an amber bulb. There are corners offered with no holes so I should be able to facilitate the fuel filler. Hopefully the corners will cover the holes where the current lights reside.
