75 cj5 ebrake change will it work

Will a 1995 YJ ebrake with release handle fit a 1975 cj5 or would it be a easy retro fit i can pick one up brand new cheap and mine is missing the release handle and all my cable are froze

 

All those parts(release handle and cables) are available new for the 75 still.
The same stuff for the 95 should be too long as its the longer wheel base

 

Are you talking about the drums on the rear axle? If so then no. YJ is a 5 on 4.5in boltpattern your CJ is 5 on 5.5in.

 

no just the pedal assy. and were can i find the brake release handle at, and i know i can get all the cables from 4wd.com or is there a better place

Ok so wasn’t so lucky with that contact they sold the last one last week, but I kept searching and found jeepdoc.com. He sales them brand new for 17.99 and also purchased a new front cable due to it’s froze for 33. Thanks for everybody’s help

Ok so parts came in from the jeepdoc and they are exaclty what i was looking for so if anyone else is looking for the ebrake release give him a call he has plenty in stock

 

why not just use a aviation emergency brake set up some thing on the line like this
