spicer 18 shifter removal

    How do i get the pin out that holds the shifters on? i took out the zerk fitting and the set screw. do i just hammer it out with a nail from the zerk side? Also getting the nose piece off does it slide off the rails once the shifters are off? i took the two short scres off the sides that hold a spring and ball. Trying to disasseble it to part out. Thanks
