T98 ?

    I have been searching for a t98 for my L- head134 for a while but got to thinking. The t98 and the t18 share alot of the same parts can I get a t98 input shaft and bearing retainer for a 134 and put them in a 1978 cj7 t18/dana20. Then I have to figure out a bellhousing

    Valid question but.... Sorry, that's just not likely to ever happen.
    There are 2 main components needed to marry a T98 to the the 134 bellhousing.

    1) The Jeep T98 specific maindrive gear which is 15/16" diameter.
    2) The 15/16" thick, cast iron Jeep T98 adapter to the 134 bellhousing.

    And NO, normally you can not swap a T98 maindrive gear into a T-18.
