Has any one replaced the oil pan gasket on the 225 V6?
The service manual I have indicates the engine has to be pulled.
Seems like overkill to do a simple gasket replacement!

I replaced mine on my 69 without having the motor out. There was plenty of room to get the pan off.

I'd ditch that manual and get a real FSM.

I agree. More than enough room to do it with it in there.

Yep. No problem at all. With the 32s, I don't even need a jack.

I think I removed the starter; it was easier to re-install the oil pan.

Great. Thanks!! I crawled under there and looked, just didn't want to get it half way off and run into problems.
