Ok, guys. Forgive me for being giddy as a schoolgirl with this new acquisition, but I'm trying to make some plans for the new Jeep and I need some advice.

In case you just tuned in, I've just bought the intermediate I always wanted when I was in high school. It's pretty solid, and I intend to bring it back to it's 1970's glory with some 31x10.50x15 AT's and either a set of aluminum slots (Renegade type) or maybe a set of 15x8 Jackman white spokes depending on what I can dig up.

Can somebody tell me if/how far this wheel/tire combo will hang out of the fenders?

I'm not going to go the antique/classic plate route, this Jeep will have standard registration which means it will need to pass PA state inspection. This means the tires have to stay inside the fenders because I don't want to have to resort to fender flares.

Can somebody hook a brother up? :AMC:

I've never seen an aftermarket wheel that will keep the tire inside the tub.
These are 31s on 8" wheels and they stick out a good inch or so and still rub.

The 235s I have now on stock 6" wheels stay tucked in nice (and don't rub, of course)
