I know there is a lot of info on doing the swap ,, i'm just wondering if anyone has done it to a m38a1 . I picked up most of the steering gear from a 97 jeep tj 2.5 . Is this gonna be doable ? Any help/ info would be appreciated ! Pics would be great ! Thanks

I have an m38a1, and it has a manual Saginaw box and an old Caddy steering column -------- but that is going to be upgraded to power steering during the current engine/trans swap I am doing.

I plan on using the box from the donor I got the engine from, a 1994 Chevy S10 Blazer. I may also use the newer column, not sure.

I will be putting up photos as I get to that stage------but for now here is one of the jeep as it was setup prior to being torn down.
