I have a 1970 CJ-5 with what the guy told me was the 231 V6. He told me it was changed from the Points system to a HEI system. It has started great all the times i have tried. This weekend I changed the drive belt on it because the old one was getting cracked. Now when i got into it today it will turn over, but not start. Is there something obvious that i missed and that's why its not starting, or do any of you know what could be wrong with it? Any help would be awesome.
    Thank You
    Mitchell

I dont think changing the belt would have anything to do with it.....unless you knocked a wire loose or something.
Start with the basics-do you have spark? Are you getting fuel?

Moving the alternator back and forth to un-mount/mount new belt may have dislodged the ign wire that plugs into the HEI dist cap. That is the only thing I can come up with..
