I've installed 2 fuel pump spacers, and fuel pressure is at 1.5 PSI. I have a really bad stumble off idle, and smoking lots during normal driving. Plugs keep getting sooted up. So far i've tried:

Adjusted valves, they seemed really tight when I adjusted them. Intakes set at .018, exhaust at .016. They took quite a bit of adjustment to get them in spec.
Set timing to around 5 degrees BTDC, maybe a tiny bit more.
Set points, dwell meter is reading 42 degrees
    Plugs gapped to .030
    Coil voltage seems ok
Checked my advance weights, and they were sticking. Freed them up, lubed well, verified they're working now with timing light.

I do have an exhaust leak right after the header, but I don't think that's the cause.

I'm just about running out of ideas.
