    It's what you need.

You might nose around WT for sale board you can get a set cheaper there.

I like the older ones better anyway.

    Should just bolt on.

if you ever drive the jeep on dry pavement, i highly recommend a set of hubs, specifically the warn full turn premium hubs you linked above. however, you might want to look into a used set on ebay - plenty of new stuff on ebay too. i've never seen or heard of these hubs going bad. if you can pickup a used set, clean them up and install them. the hubs are worth the $137, but a used set (or even new sets on ebay) will save you a lot of money.

Ebay set looks like a good deal - but 5 days left - they're gonna go for more.

I have a used set in my garage Dennis. $35 + ship - PM me if interested.

I didn't offer them here, I selected who recieved them. ;)

Yes, they are both members here. I felt I owed them a little something.

Since I had them just sitting around I gave 'em away.

But are the cheeper ones worth it or is it better to get the premium
ones??? I guess we're only talking $40. Better to get the good ones.

The used ones are Premiums. Just a bit different (and better) design IMO.

premiums are about a 7/8 turn for better engagement. standard hubs are about 3/8 turn. go for premiums

Doesn't Herm rebuild Warn hubs? My Lock-O-Matics are going in the solvent bucket soon: I've loosened them up enough to turn them in and out with just my fingers. Haven't done that for along time! But, they still don't want to turn ALL the way in either direction. And I noticed that they have a little more slop in the bearing than I thought. I'm not about to get too far into them; I see there's a flathead Allen screw which is staked into position in the control half. Not messin' with that! The rollers in the cage don't stay there now that I've removed some of the old grease/crud. I think I might be calling Herm soon. He's only a couple hours away, and we're up there pretty regular anyway. They'd work OK, but since I'm fixing/cleaning/"improving" stuff anyhow, and my CFO says "whatever you want to do, go for it...." I might as well! (I showed her John Show's running total, and even then she didn't say more than "wow.") I also get the impression that the new ones aren't nearly as stout as the old ones; true?
