Seems to be the common answer. Are they attached to the body underneath?

Radiator shroud repair time. This fiberglass work brings me back to my corvette days.

I have never done and fiberglas work. This, to me, looks like magic.

I did a little research online looking to make a mold of this and make some new ones to sell because they are so hard to find, but it looks like its more trouble than its worth

Used some Bondo - glass which is bondo mixed with fiberglass to smooth things out

Since the original had a lot of texture to it from the factory I just went ahead and used bedliner on it

Nothing exciting to update. I got the radiator hose kit from Walcks, along with the factory correct hose clamps. I need to dig out the grill now and get it mounted

Today I temporarily mounted the grill so i can attach the radiator. Also put on the hoses with the tension clamps.

Both hoses from Walcks had to be cut shorter and the lower hose wasnt close to original, it had to be twisted to fit

Probably a change between '67 and '70, but the lower radiator hose connects differently on mine, and the hose basically rides up against the oil filter. Far as I know my rad is stock.....

Thank you. Your lower spout on the radiator looks like it comes straight out. Mine is different

Yeah, that's why I said it must have been some sort of change. I haven't seen every jeep in the world, but I don't think I've ever seen a Dauntless equipped one with the lower spout bent out like that....

later ones have a wider radiator and mounting flange on the grill.

I have as original radiator with a "bent" lower like the photo of the radiator on the work table, but neither of you are running a correct lower hose. Yes of course they connect but all shown in the photos started straight.. that is not exactly correct. No I am not trying to harm any reputations here. I haven't shopped for a lower hose for 15 years and they may not be available now, but mine was prebent and no where that close to the oil filter.

I've no idea if mine is correct or not. It's what was on there when I bought it. I know it doesn't leak, and isn't cracked, so I haven't bothered messing with it =]
